“Only one who devotes himself to a cause with his whole strength and soul can be a true master. For this reason, mastery demands all of a person.” Albert Einstein
Anatoliy Georgievich Lubinets is originally from Donetsk, Ukraine. Since his childhood he wanted to connect his life to choreography. In Soviet Ukraine, Anatoliy’s mother preferred her son to become a pilot or an engineer, because dancing is a good hobby, rather than a job. However, when Anatoliy turned 18 he moved to Kyiv to study choreography at the Municipal Academy of Circus and Variety Arts. In 1972 he traveled to Ashgabat for an internship with a local ballet theatre, where he met his wife and decided to continue his career in Turkmenistan. Throughout his career together with other dancers he traveled to Europe, Middle East and Africa, where he shared the culture of Turkmenistan through his performances.
His talent is widely praised and acknowledged. In 2011, Anatoliy received the title of the Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan.
This is a story of a person who dedicated his life to choreography and folk dance, his thirst and desire for doing something exceptional that inspires many around him.
